Linda was low vision at birth and went completely blind when she was 15. Her grandmother taught her how to knit and crochet and she has loved it ever since. It takes her about a month to make each blanket . She knits every single night. She finds it to be very calming and meditative, and she thinks about the people who will use the blanket and hopes that they find it cozy and comforting.
Each blanket is 54 inches by 60 inches and weighs about 2 1/2 pounds. So it’s cozy but not overpoweringly heavy.
It is hyper allergenic, so don’t worry about sneezing. Because it is knitted from yarn made from synthetics, it can be machine washed gently and delicate and then laid to dry.
This is a blanket to cherish for many years.
