3-D designated driver, tactile sweatshirt navy

Let’s put our hands together for the Alamo Council of the Blind! This group had previously done this fundraiser to great success, and to our delight, they’re doing it again! 

This playful tactile print  features the phrase “Designated Driver” in both tactile white  print and Grade 1 Braille, creating a conversation-starting design that celebrates humor, confidence, and accessibility. The  large lettering is in block letters called “police font” The letters each have a line removed from them ostensibly to make the font more highly distinguishable. 

Designed for people who appreciate a good joke, the print playfully flips expectations by proudly identifying the wearer as the “designated driver”—despite the obvious challenges that would present. The result is a lighthearted design that often sparks laughter, curiosity, and friendly conversations.

The raised tactile print can be felt with the hands, while the Braille adds an extra layer of accessibility and authenticity for Braille readers. These sweatshirts come in unisex sizing, youth, small through large, adult small through five XL, tall large through three XL.

This cozy heavyweight crewneck sweatshirt has banded sleeves and bottom. It is made from cotton/ poly and will not shrink. Please wash this inside out to protect the ink and feel free to put it in a hot tumble dryer in order to make it nice and fluffy for you! But make sure it’s inside out!
